HELP...How are crowds the last week of October (Halloween week)

We are thinking of booking at the Portofino from Friday, October 24th, through Saturday, November 1st. Has anyone been at the Portofino and/or gone to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure during the week of Halloween?? If so, how are the crowds at the parks and at the various on-site hotels?? Any info about this time of year would be greatly appreciated (weather, etc.).

That's one of our favorite times to go. We usually get some 80's, but it tends to be 60's in the early morn. We pack light jackets and sweat shirts. It will be crowded during Halloween for Horror nights but that's a seperately ticket event. The only bad thing about that time of year is the parks tend to close early, arount 6pm. We stay at the Portofino and it never feels crowded there. I would assume that the HRH is probably busier.
