I am glad I found these boards, looks like alot of very informative posters on here. That said I need some info.

My vacation is 9/4 - 9/10/05 and I was wondering what the park attendance will look like that week. 9/4/05 we fly in late afternoon, so that will probably be a downtown disney shopping day, so I am not worried about that, but the rest of the week I am interested in knowing about.

Also we will be taking our then 11 month old. Will he be able to ride alot of rides with us? Now I'm not talking tower or terror or anything, but I mean things like the flying carpets, buzz lightyear, etc....

Last but not least how is the Caribbean beach resort. I have only been 1 time prior and that was Port Orleans Riverside, and I didn't mind that at all.

ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED :earboy2:

Hi and Welcome, Foolish Mortal (sorry I couldn't resist)!!!!

I'll try your questions: crowds will be large on the 4th and 5th, then drop off substantially starting on the 6th as Labor Day weekend ends.

And yes, an 11-month old can ride lots of things on your lap: Peter Pan, IASW, Pooh, Dumbo, Aladdin, Buzz, the Carousel.......etc

Finally, this will help you with info on the CBR:

Enjoy!

Well thank you for that info, glad to hear it shouldn't be too crowded, Maybe we'll hit AK on the 5th to avoid the other parks while they are busy.

Does anyone know what type of weather is common around that time? I am assuming rather hot still, but was wondering if Rain is a good possibility.

Yes, it will be quite hot, and there is a good chance of thunderstorms almost every afternoon. Sometimes they last for 15 minutes, sometimes a couple of hours.

And of course, if you had gone in 2004 you would have run into a hurricane or two, but let's hope that doesn't happen again! Prior to last year, WDW had shut down for a hurricane only ONE DAY in 33 years, so the odds are with you!

15 minute rainstorms...sounds like Denver, enough to ruin a few hours, not enough to ruin the day.

hmmmm hurricanes, I like my odds with what you posted, and you know, if luck isn't on my side I can say I was in a real live hurricane....being from Denver that would be something....lol

Welcome, foolishmortal! :wave2:

I understand that September is the time to go! Have a magical time! :flower:

Thank you, I hope you are right. From what I am hearing it shouldn't be too bad of crowds with school starting and all.

I have my first September trip planned this year so we will see! I hope the crowds are as low as I hear they are! That would be nice! :flower:

As I just discovered earlier today you can find what the crowd levels will look like each day on a scale of 1 to 10 at the following page....http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm....it's run by the folks from the Unofficial Guide and is a great resource. :wave2:
