Help!!! Help!!! Help!!!! They cancelled our morning train!!!!!

Just got the call 2 hours ago, our train to NYC was cancelled due to the tracks being under water!!!!

Was able to book a flight for tomorrow morning, but now I need to know what transfers are required to get from JFK airport to Manhattan!!!!

Anyone have advise or links, need to know asap so we can book them. We arrive at 8:00 at JFK!!!

from JFK to Manhattan...


if you take a cab, there's a set fee...not sure what it is these days.



or you could call a car service, they also will give you a set price.

if you want to try public transportation...you can try the air train.

the air train connects to the NYC subway at Howard Beach, and you ride the A train into Manhattan. the air train also connects with the Long Island railroad, which takes you into Penn Station/34th street, where you can get a cab.

The cab fee from JFK to Manhattan is $45.00, plus tip.

Air Train to the Subway! IT is the easiest and least expensive way to go.

my ex and I took a shuttle ride once in NY and I must say it was a thrill ride and then some. Driving on curbs, almost fist fight between our driver and another. We were on it with others and the biggest, meanest looking guy with us looked so relieved to be at our destination it was funny.
