Help! Having a heck of a time finding TS for party of 16.

I don't mind calling. Not at all. I've called once already and the CM was so less than helpful. She just offered nothing in the way of helping me find places we could get, even when I said we could split them 8 and 8.

something I have been told call during the day like 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday not on the weekends. cant say for sure but have been told this

Does Disney do Grand Gatherings anymore?

I remember big groups that were family reunions, or grandparents with many grandchildren. There was a service that did meal adds and even helped with fast passes. But that’s a few years back.

Someone else in your party can make reservations in their name at a different place.

OP I know you called already and that's really your best bet; hopefully you'll get a more helpful CM if you call again. There are many restaurants that have anywhere from 8 to 11 as the max they'll book as one reservation so if you put 16 in online, those restaurants won't come up even if there's availability. On the phone you'd get them as options but yes, you'd have to do two or more reservations and take a chance being split up so hopefully your group is ok with that
