Help! Hat Size for 12 yr old girl and gift basket selections?

We've just added our niece to our WDW trip in early June since my SIL got it oked for her to get out of school a few days. I planned to order a gift basket from FeralPeg with Mickey Ear Hats for DS and DH and would like to get her a pink ears hat, but neither SIL nor MIL knows her hat size. Can anyone with a 12 yr old girl (she's average/tall for her age) tell me if your DD wears youth or adult ears? Are these hats adjustable?

Also what are some of your favorite things to include in gift basket for the whole family (DS is turning 2)?

I would think the adult hat would be right for a 12 yo, my son got the adult when he was 7 because the child was too small even then. Ask peggy to be sure though.

I would say get the adult size too. The worse thing is it is a little big ( bring bobby pins in case) but if it is too small she wont be able to wear it.

Definately an adult size hat with the adjustable back strap. My dds are 9 and 11 and neither can wear the kids hats anymore. They are average to small in size fwiw -

Now i just hope the beach gear I will put in her Easter Basket fits. SIL say shes in between sizes and wasn't totally sure of her shoe size. Hope the flip flops fit.
