Help from SC Dissers

My MIL is moving to North Charleston SC after the 1st of this year. She has told us she wants no Christmas gifts because she has so much stuff now and it will be expensive to ship with what she has. I thought maybe getting a gift cert to a nearby and nice restaurant but don't know the area. She likes steak houses, Italian, and German foods. She doesn't like seafood so much. Any suggestions? I know there is a chain restaurant in Charleston called California Dreaming that has a variety of food and may do gift certificates.

California Dreaming is a great suggestion! There is a very good German restaurant in nearby Mt. Pleasant named Max & Moritz.

Gennaro's is a great Italian restaurant in Summerville (very close to N. Charleston).

I'm not familiar with restaurants in North Charleston, but downtown Charleston has tons. CA Dreamin is wonderful! I love it! I hear Oscar's in Summerville is nice. Sticky Fingers has great BBBQ

There are some wonderful restaurants in that area. Good luck deciding which one to get the gift certificate to. California Dreaming does sound like a wonderful choice.
