We are tentatively looking at staying on site for the first time by renting points. If you're willing to help me research this, let me tell you what I think I know and you can tell me what I'm wrong about... :rotfl:

Studios have no separate bedroom, just a microwave, and paper plates and utensils, and no washer dryer?

Value rooms are just in Jambo? Jambo DVC accomodations are pretty high up so if we wanted a lower floor we'd want Kidani?

Correct, you also have a toaster, coffee pot and sink in the kitchenette. Plus real coffee cups and glasses. You have access to a washer and dryer in the DVC laundry room, free for members, your KTTW accesses the laundry room.

Yes to both questions. The DVC rooms at Jambo House are on the 5th floor, except for the concierge rooms which are on the 6th floor. There have been posts that people are able to see the animals better at Kidani.

Here's what the MS website states about a studio:

Sleeps up to four
Queen-size bed, plus full-size sleeper sofa
Flat-panel TV and DVD player
Wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker
Private balcony
316 sq ft., Value; 365 sq. ft. Standard in Jambo House
366 sq. ft. in Kidani Village

So as you can see the Value rooms are also smaller than a regular studio. I believe many have described a value as being about three feet shorter but with the same amount of furniture as in a standard studio.

Studios also have a small fridge.

If you are ok with being at Jambo in a value studio, be aware, (I believe) that you might not have a savanna view.

We have stayed at Kidani twice and it is a beautiful resort.
