Help for a newbie, please...

I have a reunion of sorts...12 people going to Orlando in September for Free dining at WDW. What is the lease expensive way that all of us can get into Universal Studios for one day only. We will have 1 child, age 8...all the other children are over 13. Are there any discounted tickets available? Coupon codes, etc? We really only have one day to devote to Universal, but we've never been, so we're excited.
