HELP! for a Blizzard Beach newbie!!

Upcoming trip Aug. 16-22. Hadn't planned on doing water parks this trip, but after watching a show on best water parks last night and seeing Blizzard Beach, my DS15 REALLY wants to go now. So, I'm checking into it. My pkg. is already paid for, but I called today and can add the Water Park Fun & More option for $170.44 more. I looked online and found that I could also purchase 1-day passes for the 4 of us for $144.84.

Question #1 - If we are only going to go to BB for 1 day and are not planning on doing TL, PI, DQ or WWoS, would the 1-day passes be the better option? (Note - it only saves us $25)

Question #2 - If I do the 1-day passes, can they be purchased ahead of time (i.e. - at home or at our resort) or do they have to be purchased at the park?

Question #3 - I think the only days that we could fit BB in would be on a Friday or a Sunday. Would either of these days be any better than the other?

Question #4 - Can you charge things to the room from here?

1. It would make sense to buy the package deal if it is only ~$25 more, because if it lightenings and they close the park you are out. But with the package you can go back another day. Plus you say you are not plannnig on going to the other places, but now you can if something comes up.

2. Yes, you can buy ahead.

3. I am not sure about what day you should go. I personally would go on Friday because the schools are back in session down there.

4. Yes you can charge to the room.

Just so you know if the park does close due to severe weather you can go to BB Guest Services and get a rain check ticket (you have to have been in the park less then 4 hours to receive this). They never expire so if you don't have another chance to use the ticket on this trip you can use it on another trip. So if you want to save that $25 you can just buy the one day pass and not worry to much about the weather dampening your time.
