Hi everyone and what a wonderful forum :goodvibes

I have just booked my first ever trip to Disneyland Paris leaving on 16 Feb for 3 nights. I am going with my 9 and 4 year old and am staying in Sequoia Lodge.

Have also booked Half Board Plus and was wondering whether anyone could give me advice on where is best to eat - my daughter is not in the least bit fussy (my 9 year old) but my son (4 year old) can be very picky. Should I pre-book dinner?????

Also could you advise me of the opening times - cannot seem to see anything on the Disney website.

Thanks for any help in advance - I am off to read the forums more really excited about going :woohoo:

i would definitely recommend cafe mickey, your children will love having the characters coming round at dinner! This website has the menus for the restaurants at DLP so that might help you decide where you eat if your sons a bit picky lol! http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/index.php

Unfortunately the park opening hours probably won't be up for quite a while. Hope this helps and happy planning :goodvibes

hi, the restaurants that are included in the half board plus are a mixture of buffet or table service and some won't be available in the evening if they are in the park which shuts earlier. If your 4 yr old is picky (mine's the same) then the buffet might be better. We ate at hunters grill in sequoia lodge which was really nice, the steakhouse and billy bobs. we found the buffet is also good in the evening for tired small children so that they can really pick what they fancy rather than being presented with a big plate full and they don't even know where to begin!!

Hi and welcome. We are there at a similar time -15th -18th and when we booked the CM told us the opening hrs for that week - I'll see if I can find where we wrote it but seem to remember it was open slightly later due to it being half term and I tink they said there was EMH every day as well

Hi suzymumof2 and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Have a look at the restaurant reviews which will give you some ideas of the menu choices :)

Thanks for all your responses :) much appreciated! This is a fabulous forum btw !

EMH is extra magic hours.

If you are staying in an official Disney hotel, or have a Dream Annual Pass, then you can go into the main Disneyland Park 2 hours early (on certain days) and ride most of the rides in Fantasyland, plus a few in Discoveryland.

With your 4-year old, EMH is a real bonus, and worth getting to the parks early for (as Fantasyland, where a lot of the young childrens rides are, get busy after the official opening time of 10am, and stays busy most of the day).

As you have booked the Sequoia Lodge, you will be entitled to EMH.
