Hello my fellow DIS-sers'. Well my family and I have decided to stay on property for the first time ever...we are so excited about it.:cool1:... We are planning to add the disney dining pland and I would like to be able to make ADR's for the week that we will be there in order to experience Disney to the fullest!

I have a couple of questions and would appreciate all the help I can get.

If my dates are in August and we are staying on property, do I make reservations 180 days out or 105 days out?

Can y'all make recommendations for table service restaurants for a family of 4?

Which is the better meal at Cinderella Castle...lunch or dinner? same with Akershus?

The breakfast at Crystal Palace is in fact a buffet?

Is there a place to find menu's ahead of time?

Lastly, am I thinking too much?????:confused3

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!:cloud9:

Try this link to obtain your ADR date. It is 180 days from the first day of your stay.

Sure! Unless you have a party of 8 and you are using online ADR system, then you must call your reservation via Disney Dining.

Both meals at the Cinderella Royal Table require 2 TS credits. Akershus is a one credit TS Princess dining

Yes

You are welcome!

You can also find menus at allears.net.

We are a family of 4 also (2 girls, 2 and 6) and we really enjoyed the following table service places (we did the deluxe plan in December)
Breakfast - Crystal Palace, Ohana, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, Princess Breakfast @ Epcot.
All Other Meals - Le Cellier (best NY Strip steak we have ever had and the breadsticks are awesome - pretzel, sourdough, & multigrain), Tusker House (buffet), 50's Prime Time Cafe (great fried chicken and fun place to eat), Whispering Canyon Cafe (fun atmosphere and pretty good food), Tony's Town Square (decent pasta, good steak, and love the Lady and the Tramp atmosphere)

My 2 favorite places of those listed above: Le Cellier and Tusker House (breakfast and lunch - huge buffet with tons of variety)

Have a great trip!

As for Cinderella's Castle I had heard some not so good things about the dinners there before we left but our experience was wonderful. Dinner was fabulous and really fun, that said if you are looking for more princesses or lots of character interaction lunch is the way to go. At dinner you will get a song rontine with the mice and fairy godmother during dinner and picture with Cindy before the meal.
As for menus I found the ones on Allears.net more accurate.
