Help!!! Finding some discontinued thimbles!!!

Help!!

My mom has collected thimbles for a long time. She has two unfinished sets of Disney Villainess and Disney princess thimbles. They look like little statues standing on top of a base. The base part was the thimble and the top part was either the princess or villainess. No one ever really seems to know what I am talking about. I would love to complete the set for her. They came packaged in a "bullet" looking case with a piece of foam in the top for padding.

I have the 6 Villains, The Hag, The Queen of Hearts, Maleficent, Ursula, The Queen and Cruella if Memory serves. I beleive there was also a fab 5 set available and maybe a few others as I have a Jiminy one. Jiminy I'd like to trade for something else as I have nothing else that goes with him. I'll try to post a pic later this evening when I get home from work.

Villain Thimbles

The villain thimbles Dom posted are the ones I remember being sold at the Disney Store and the Disney Catolog some time ago. Also sold at the same time were the Fab 5, Jiminy Cricket, and Pooh characters, Winnie the Pooh, Rabbit, and Tigger and maybe more.

The princess ones I had were on a crystal thimble and were also sold in the Disney catalog. Each princess was sitting on the thimble with her dress spread out. There was Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine & Ariel. Strange they included Jasmine and not Snow White.

The one Nat posted was a series of many different characters and can sometimes be found on disneydeals. They did not come in the "bullet" type case.

None of these thimbles are for sale any longer.

You might check ebay under the Disneyana category for "thimble", or under the all category listing with "Disney thimble". Everything comes up there, sooner or later.
