HELP! Feeling Code Pressure.

OK. So thanks to all of you I know that the room only code BDP is coming out tomorrow. I am panicked about calling in time. Can you tell me:

1) What number do I need to call to try to get the code applied to my existing reservation?

2) How early can I start calling tomorrow?

I am wondering if I should feel the pressure. When I made my rez for Feb., I was told by the CM that all I had to do if there was a code was to call back and they would modify my existing rez to reflect the code. This sounds too good to be true, now that I really think about it. Thanks for any info!
