I am winning this bid....but found out by searching certain models were recalled...fire hazard......some arent'....I emailed seller to see exact model it is.......you think I should be fine..haven't heard back....only 5 min left!!

Yikes, what did you do? Oops, it wasn't 5 minutes like I thought it was. Hopefully someone can help... Is it a new item? If it is a recalled item, you can always do whatever is necessary for the recall.

You'll be okay.........sometimes companies will fix it free at "repair centers", sometimes buy it back.................odds are it's okay.

Tough call! I guess it depends on what it is and what the problem is it is being recalled for.

Thats ok, I guess....I was outbid at the VERY last second by the EXACT same person for the EXACT item for the second time!!!

It was the Black and Decker Optima Spacesave toaster. I have one but it is falling apart bad....and you can't buy them anywhere anymore...they stopped making them.

Only a certain model number was actually recalled and the first one that I bid on specifically explained it. I guess many fires were had from them.

This second one didn't specify exact model number....but I didn't realize it until 6 minutes left to go.....

But...I didn't win anyway.....I have another bid out there....ending in 2 days...but I betcha the SAME person will outbid me again!!!

See...........THAT bidder is probably turning them in for a refund due to the recall..........and the refund is higher than the Ebay price.............

I don't know cause the recall was like 5 years ago....wonder if you still could return them??
