Help! Eating out on WW! Please Help!!

On Saturday I am supposed to go out to eat with friends. I am counting my points and want to do well! My friend said that we might go to Rafferty's (kinda like a steakhouse). I looked at www.dwlz.com but Rafferty's is not listed. I went to the restaurant's website and they don't have nutrition info! What should I do if we go to a place like this? It makes me nervous just thinking about it! I weighed in today and I lost 4 pounds this week (I really tried hard!) and I don't want to undo what I've done! :goodvibes Thanks!!!
 
If I can't find the pts. on dwlz.com, I usually just try to do my best: nothing fried or in heavy sauces, no dinner rolls, drink only water, etc. I usually try to find a grilled chicken dish and get veggies with it. Oh, and a salad first always takes the edge off for me!
 
an alternative is to order what you want and immediately ask for a carry-out box and pack 1/2 of it up to take home. When I go to a nice restaurant I don't want to deprive myself of something nice to eat. I also don't want to eat something bland I can make at home. Just eat slowly and enjoy the food. Have a glass of ice water with lemon and either unsweetened tea or diet soda. You'll do fine! Good luck!
 
I used to work at the Outback, so I know that steakhouses drizzle their steaks in 2 tablespoons of butter as it's cooking. SO make sure if you order a steak, ask for it dry, with no butter!!!

Prime rib is not cooked with butter because it is slow cooked, but it is pretty fatty.

I know this is kind of different, but check out most of the steakhouses on Dottie's and pick the one *most* like Rafferty's. Best of luck and congrats on the loss!!! :cheer2: :woohoo:
 
We didn't end up at Rafferty's. We ended up at Ryan's (a buffet :sad2: )
I don't know how many points I had. I didn't eat as much as what I normally would have, but I know that I didn't eat as good as I should have either. But I am going to get right back on today! I joined a new gym and am going to a fat burning class tomorrow night so hopefully that will burn off some of what I ate. Thanks for asking!!
 
Don't beat yourself up too much. :grouphug: It's called life and we're all entitled to a "bad day". I figure the key is not to allow bad days become bad weeks, then bad habits.

Sounds like you actually handled it pretty well - tried to make good choices and hopped back on the wagon today.

Good luck with the new gym membership! I have one (requirement for DS' daycare), but haven't gone lately. They're only open until, and I'm not ready to work out until at least then.
