HELP! Driving to DW with 4 kids that don't have passports yet for 25% discount tickets. Problem?

I wonder if the loophole has occurred to them? Then again it's quite possible that there aren't enough people to exploit the loophole to bother closing it. WDW wouldn't know that a provincial health care card is probably a more accurate proof of residency.

No one can ask you for your health card as a form of ID. Plus, it's totally useless while in the US so you shouldn't even bring it with you.

When I looked at the website (I want to order the tickets as well) it said proof of residency, not passports. To change it to needing passports while there is kinda... odd. We have valid passports for 3 of our party of 6, one is 2yrs old, and our older 2 kids have old passports that have expired and need renewal. We're still hoping to get/renew passports for the other 3 in our party, but I have no idea when we would get them in.

Just there 2 weeks ago. We bought the Canadian discounted tickets. They only wanted to see my and my DH passports, didn't need or want DD7's passport to activate her ticket or add days to it.

Not entirely true...if you're admitted to an American hospital they will take your provincial health card. A relative was recently admitted after a fairly major health issue in the states and the first thing they asked about was the BC Care Card.

To my knowledge there are no reciprocal agreements with Canada and any US state so they should not want your health card. They usually ask for insurance to determine if they will treat you or send you somewhere else.

Noone can ask for it, but you're well within your rights to use it as a form of I.D.
In ontario at least.

In BC our Drivers Licence and BC Care card CAN be the same card.
