Help! Driving from POP to GF for Princess Tea Party

We're staying at the POP... I hope we like it. Anyway, on Friday we have the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at GF and I'm wondering about parking. I am meeting a friend there and the tea party reservations are in her name. Will I have any trouble being able to drive to the Grand Floridian and parking my car? Do they still check as you enter the resort? I want to be able to drive because we'll be spending some time at the resort afterward and I would like to have my car there so I can put the doll & other stuff my daughter gets at the party so I don't have to keep up with it all.

No problems. The self park is actually across the street on the left side. If you go via the guard shack, they will check id and you can go straight ahead to valet. This resort has the furthest self park IMHO, so allow a few extra minutes.

I would use the valet. Self parking is really, really far away.

Any idea how much the valet parking is? Oh, and after the party, will they hold the doll & stuff until we're ready to leave or will they bring the car so we can put it in there?
