HELP........"Dream Travel". Filed for bankruptcy.....

HELP..
I booked a trip thru "Dream Travel" for Disney in Fla (staying at Bonnet Creek) for Feb 27. Yesterday I received an email from a paralegal saying that Dream Travel has filed for bankruptcy.

My trip is paid in full. I tried to make some phone calls yesterday, but got no where. I'm hoping it was because it was Saturday, and the office was closed.

Has anyone else booked thru "Dream Travel" ????

Do you have a disney reservation number? Our TA always supplies us with a confirmation code. Call the resort directly and see what they have.

And don't reply to the email with credit card information or your Disney reservation number. It could be a scam. Most legal notices are sent to you via the U.S.P.S., not via email. I know it's possible they sent it via email since your trip is so soon, but it's also possible someone's just fishing for information they can use. Good luck!

Did you try to call Bonnet Creek or Wyndham Resorts?

Dont know if that is the same company. Like the pp said call bonnet creek direct.

Wow - if you paid money to dreamtravelcondos, you are in trouble. I hope you made payment with a credit card, otherwise you'll have to get in line behind this woman's other creditors. There are many bad reviews of this company on the Internet; did you check them out before paying? Sorry this happened to you.

Op, I know this doesn't help after the fact but never use cash to book a vacation.

I am amazed at the number of folks who gave this place money without receiving a confirmation letter or number??

Thank goodness I booked with a credit card. This lady needs to be put in prison for what she did to so many people.

Fortunately, I was able to find another place to stay for the duration of r vacation. A lesson well learned!!!!

Good for you and a good lesson as to why you should use a credit card for these types of purchases.
