My fiance and I are going to DW in December 8-14 for our Disneymoon. We're not sure where to stay yet and we're on a tight budget. We want something romantic yet reasonable. Also any ideas about what to do while were there besides the parks. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, can't help with where to stay but I can suggest a couple of things to do that are reasonably priced (or free!)..... carriage ride at Wilderness camp area or POFQ (around $35 I think), or romantic walks on the beach area near GF, or go looking for hidden Mickey's around all the resorts and check out the beautiful Christmas decorations at the same time.
If I think of any more, I'll be back.

By the way, we'll be in the world from 9th to 18th.

Hi
I went the 1st week of Dec....the first 2weeks of Dec are usually in the value range for cost...so you should be able to find great deals...infact I have a saved email for, i think 40% off rates for your date range.

As for which resort...thats all about your taste...ive stayed at ASM, WL, CBR & loved them all for their uniquness

Id go online & view photos to see what catches your eye....I have fun trying different resorts everytime I go

Let me know If youd like a copy of that email
:wizard:

Can't give much info to help you out, but had to say that I'll be down the same time for my Disneymoon!

I did almost the EXACT same thing for our disneymoon 2 years ago. My DW and I stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort starting at Dec. 12th - 19th and it was pretty romantic because you can walk along their beach at night or around the resort among the plants and stuff and it's during value season, so it's even cheaper. My suggestion if you stay there.....shoot for the Jamaica area if you can. It's a little more secluded and private but it's not very far from the bus stops. Hope it helps!! :goodvibes And CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

I think the mods would be a nice place to saty. I would recommend one of the Port Orrleans we love it there but coronado springs is supposed to be nice also. Depends on what theme you like. IMy finace proposed to me on the beach at the poly and it is super romantic. Grab a drink get there about 1/2 hour before wishes grab a hammock and relax watching the fireworks:love:

Myprincessgirlisa - I'm going down to WDW at the same time - may I have a copy of that email too? PM me! :thumbsup2

We were in Disney from 12/7 - 12/16. It is the perfect time to go!!! Not only is it value season so you can get the cheapest hotel rates possible, it's also one of the lowest crowd times. We got on rides in about 20 mins that we would normally wait an hour or more for. I couldn't have imagined it being more perfect. AND all the parks and hotels are decorated for Christmas so it's beautiful. I wish I had thought about watching Wishes from the Poly in a hammock. That sounds so romantic. I would take the time to go to the different deluxe resorts and look at all the gingerbread houses. They are amazing!!! Especially the one in the GF. It's a house made of gingerbread but it's also a store where people are working inside of it. It's really cool. The Yacht Club has one, the Boardwalk, I would assume the Contemporary and the Wildnerness Lodge have one. I don't recall seeing one at the AKL, but that place is just the coolest to go check out anyway. :thumbsup2 The carriage rides at the POFQ are only $35 and I hear they are romantic. Check out the allearsnet.com site for cool things to do also. That site helped us out a lot. Have fun and keep us up to date!!! :goodvibes

This is the link to the email for the40% from dec9-22...now I've heard from the codes board that sometimes they code these to be email specific, meaning only the person it was sent to can redeem it......not sure if this is one of those.....I didnt need it so i didnt use it, but i got it from a friend(not sure if they used it)

Anyway, I hope it works for whoever wants it....Good luck

Sorry....Im a dork & I cant figure out how to PM......I figured this would be the fastest way to get it out:woohoo:
