Can I purchase the Disney Dining Plan if I am not staying at a Disney Resort?
If not, what's the best advice for meals?

    Thanks in advance.

HI!!! You must be staying at a Disney resort to use the DDP. The DDP offers you one TS (table service) meal, one CS (counter service) meal, and one snack option per day per person on the plan. I love the DDP. There are many threads on here that fully explain the DDP. :thumbsup2

Check the Dining board. Even if you aren't on the dining plan, make your ADRs as soon as you know what you want. If you plan to eat only counter service, then you have nothing to worry about. If you want to do some table service meals (character meals are in this catagory), plan now and make your ADRs (advance dining reservations).
