We have stayed at ASMu a couple of times, when we have taken some of the grand kids. They love it. Larger than the buildings Texan Boots, Banjos, Guitars. Be sure to get pics of the kids in front of them. The piano shaped pool is neat. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

the toy story section also is decorated inside with posters and wall border with buzz and woody. just to let you know.

hope all works out! either way you will have a blast, you can
walk over to the buzz area.

I agree- can't go wrong at any on-site hotel. I equate the All-Star resorts to the 'motel 6 room with a whole lot to do outside the room.' I stayed there once as well as the movies once. I second the thought about the Buzz section at the AS Movies though.
