Help - DH says you can get your AP at the airport

DH and I have a disagreement: He said you can get your annual pass at the Orlando airport. I thought you could only get them at one of the parks or downtown Disney. Is there anybody out there that can help me win this one??

The "Earport" (Disney Store) at Orlando International Airport is a great place to buy AP's.

They are activated at the time you buy them so you don't need to "check -in" at the theme-park when you get there.

Just stick the ticket in the reader, scan your fingers and walk on in!

You can buy new APs at the Airport. You can not redeem vouchers, that must be done at the parks or DtD. You also can not get a DVC discounted AP at the airport.

The Disney stores at the airport don't sell activated APs anymore. They only sell vouchers now. I wanted to purchase an activated AP in January but wasn't able to. I was told by the castmembers from both stores that they are only selling vouchers now and stopped selling activated APs sometime at the end of December I think. So I just bought my AP outside of Epcot.

Will the resorts accept my voucher at check-in to get the AP discount or do I need to go to a park or DTD, get the voucher activated, and then go back to the resort and check in with the actual AP in hand?

Marti - I am going to help you out a little bit here -

Because you are DVC members - you can not buy your AP at the airport - this is from the DVC website - they must be purchased at one of the parks or DTD

You can check in with the voucher but you will need to activate it that day
