Help!!! Desperate housewife seeking ressie for motorhome

I tried to make a ressie today for our 34 foot motorhome for Feb. 21 - 25. Was told sorry folks, campground closed. (full, that is.) Please!! Advice needed. We already invited my parents to come with us and they accepted invite. Never thought this would be an issue. Was told to keep trying back. Any other advice welcomed.

Keep calling CRO. If you call early in the morning (they open at 7am), you have a better chance. A CM told me that the computer cancels out all ressies without deposits at midnight - so by calling early you have a better chance. Also, try making the ressie for a few days before you actually want to check in. Sometimes that opens up sites. Then call back and cancel the nights you don't want. We've had to do that a few times and it works.

You are tyring to go during President's week, which is always packed, just keep on trying, and you might get lucky....

I realized that it was Pres. Day on Mon. I actually booked Discovery Cove for us on that day to keep us out of the parks. We did wind up getting our last two days at FW booked last night. Now working on first two days. Going with the positive attitude and will keep trying. Appreciate the good thoughts.

Great advice given.

When I tried to book for our Jan. and Feb. dates, I was told nothing available. I just kept on calling and finally got what we were looking for.

Keep calling and hopefully you will get all your dates.

I don't know what cancellation policy is for campsites, but it is 5 days prior in the cabins. So you might get that opening at the last minute. Keep calling! Make sure they also check for the 1st night and the 2nd night separately - take whatever you can get.
