Help Decide Please! POP or CBR

OK. Trying to decide which resort to pick. The difference between the POP century and the Carribean Beach Resort is only 292.00! So should I go for it? We have stayed at both Port Orleans and love them both, but would like to try a new moderate. However we have stayed at POP once and LOVED it. That was without kiddies and now we are bringing kiddies and Sister and BIL and nephew. Think the kids would love POP because of the arcade, but know the BIL may think POP to "cheap". Don't know how to convince him that POP is fun and not really "Cheap". Would switch over to CBR, but I am SOOOOOOO worried that I will be waiting all day for buses and that I will be so mad that I have to walk miles to the food court. HELP me!!!

Depending on what section of CBR you are in (Im assuming you were quoted for standard rooms) the bus situation can be a pain in the butt. We were in Martinique and found the busses to be horibly slow. The bus situation aside, I was impressed with the resort overall. I really liked Old Port Royale and the pool. You can definently tell the difference in overall construction (Thickness of walls, etc.) between the Moderates and Values. If I were you, I would go for it. The walk for the bus at POP can be worse then the "Lake Loop" at CBR!!

My family loves CBR. Request a preferred location. If that's too much, look at the allearsnet.com site for information on good locations that don't involve the extra bucks.

We liked the bus service at CBR. The food court is our favorite one of all the resorts we've been to, so far. The main pool rocks. We love the Carribbean background music. (I miss the Christmas Caribbean music!)

I've never had to ride a bus from either, but sort of noticed two of the longest lines for buses seem to be Pop, and CBR. We had the same choices, and went with CBR. Our favorite moderate is POFQ.

We love CBR -- in fact my kids loved it too! We found bus service to be very good and fast from Martinique where we stayed, food court was great for the kids, they loved the hammocks and white sand beaches -- it was great.... like a vacation within our vacation!

I know that alot of people on the boards love POP. My husband and I stayed there the last week of October. We have never stayed in a Value before, we went with a very open mind. Neither of us cared for it. I think that POP is fine if you don't plan on spending a lot of time at the resort.
In June we stayed at POR and really enjoyed it. I would defenitely choose a moderate over POP. I understand that your kids will love POP but it's also a vacation for the adults. If you feel that your BIL won't like it then you are probably on the money with choosing CBR.
