So the only thing DD 3.5 has been asking Santa for Christmas this year is Cinderella's pink princess dress - the one the mice and birds make for her and the stepsisters destroy. Of course she is asking for something that doesn't really exist!! I've found a couple of pink princess dresses that *may* be passable and I did actually find an ebay seller who custom makes the pink cinderella dress but it is really more than I have to spend.
Any ideas??

Thanks!

if you or someone you know can sew, get a pattern and make it... My mom did that for our DD. not the pink one though, but I think the pattern had it on there (out of 5 different styles)

I thought Cinderella's dress was blue, and Sleeping Beauty (Aurora) was the one who had the pink dress.

Technically, you are right. However, the OP is looking for Cindy's pink dress that the mice and birds make for her while she is doing all the chores they gave her to finish before she could go to the ball. When the stepsisters see that pink dress they rip it to shreds because it has "my beads" and "my sash" and then Cindy doesn't have a dress to wear. The blue dress we all think of is the one that the Fairy Godmother gave her in the garden.

We did a different style "Made by Mice" dress. I had this one made, but it is much different than the style in the movie....

I have seen some on Etsy or Ebay way over priced for quality i will email a lady who is reasonable.:cool1::cool1:

Ebay UK has some really cute reversible "rags to riches" dresses, they're super cute. You might just have enough time to have it shipped and get to you before Christmas. They call them "fancy dresses" not costumes though. HTH!

Just wanted to say that :disrocks:. How cool that so many DISers posted different links!

Snoopy, I was wondering how this worked out for you? My DD did the same thing when she was 3, right before we went to WDW for the first time. I had to sew the dress at night after she went to sleep; it took me two weeks, as I am not much of a seamstress and I had to make my own pattern. (I kept waiting for the mice to show up and help...) It was totally worth it, though! Far more people recognized it than I would have thought, and DD got a special certificate from a CM who said she had worked there for 11 years and never seen Cinderella's pink dress. The stepsisters were great, too -- DD was afraid they'd tear up her dress if she got too near them, and they said, "No, don't worry! That's just the movie! You can't believe everything you see onscreen. Plus you look much better in that than Cinderella did... <drop to whisper> ...and your hair is naturally blonde!" LOL
