Check your remote and make sure you didn't select another audio format....I forget what it is called...but some stations have a secondary audio and you may have accidentally selected it.
It happened to us and cable company said when it is usually one station--it isn't them. I had to call PBS to find out and they told me how to fix it.
Check with my neighbor...they've got sound....just none on CNN only in my house....I must have used my quota of CNN this week.... FOX news has similar stuff but I've gotten used to the CNN reports....
zurgswife...this has happened to me before. I guarantee you if it's just you and just one channel, you definitely hit something on your remote. I have to hit my menu button on my remote and go to the audio section, if it's not highlighted on the stereo mode, you won't have sound on that particular channel...try it! Let us know!
Whew! Glad you got your CNN back! BTW, when did Bill Hemmel defect to Fox News?? I switch back and forth between the 2. If there's breaking news, I also flip to ABC, but I couldn't stay there for more than a minute or two this time...couldn't do it without Peter.
No sound on CNN? I'm not understanding what the problem is. You seem to be suggesting this is some sort of problem. How do I get my satellite provider to enable that feature?
