Help!!! Character Meal Question...

Hello all! I am new to this whole experience and need some expert advice...

We are arriving at Disney on April 22ns and leaving on April 28th. We will be staying at POR.

Now, I heard that there is a Toy Story character meal opening on April 1st. Is this the time to call and book this meal? Can I do it today? My DS (3yrs old) is nuts for Toy Story and I would love to get into this meal. I really would appreciate any help and/or advice.

I am SO looking forward to this character meal on our next trip!

But if I were you, I would schedule another character meal now, in case for some reason you are unable to get the new one.

You can always cancel the other character meal when you book the new one, but I would just hate for it to be April and have you not be able to get into ANY character dining experiences.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info and the warm welcome to those who responded.

I am now checking the thread everyday. I can only hope that the meal is up and running for the last week in April!

We have booked the Crystal Palace for the Winnie the Pooh characters. Any feedback on this meal?
