Help! Changing Reservations Question?

Need a little help from you DCL veterans.

I have reservations for an August cruise and have placed a $1,200 deposit on this trip. (Full payment due by June.)

It appears my wife might change jobs and we would need to push the cruise back a year.

Is DCL accomodating for this type of change. Can I just push back my trip a year and use the same deposit money?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes.

In fact, I had the same question about applying the deposit for another date as we're booked for March 2005, and would rather sail in June 2005. (We're waiting for summer 2005 to open.)

If you cancel less than 60 days from your sail date, you pay a penalty which increases the later you cancel.

We booked on board for October 2005. With the stated intention of traveling October 2006. Once the dates open up, we will move the reservation. No problem, they said.

I did this last year, we were suppose to go on the 7 night Easter this past month, but we changed it last summer to this coming September. No problem at all.

Just do it more than 60 days before your currently scheduled trip.
