They both cost approximately the same, but I think the WBC has more things to offer(pools, lazy rivers, ammenities in general) but I love the fact of WH there is no one above us, the home is ours for the week and we have our own splash pool in the back so my kids at night will be able to swim without having to trek to a pool. When we go to the parks, we want to be able to come back about 1pm till about 5pm for rest and then back to the parks, we will have a car and will be able to do so but I also know that WBC has shuttles too.....AHHH the decisions. We are going May 7th - May 13th, 2012
Still time to decide, but I can't figure it out. Any reviews for either would be great and any input too

You've hit exactly the difference between the two. Bonnet Creek is more of a "resort" with central amenities. Windsor Hills provides more privacy and autonomy. It just depends on what sort of vibe you are looking for. We happen to have a slight preference for the more-resorty stay, but both are great.

We just went thru the same decision. We went with WH. We would have needed a 3 bdrm at WBC, but still had our 22 yo in the living room without his own space. And as appealing as the resort style amenities were, it didn't beat the appeal of being able to let the kids swim in the private pool or play in the in-home game room while us adults could veg out in privacy & comfort.

For us, privacy, room & conveinence won over the resort atmopsphere.

This will be our first family trip to Disney World and we chose WH. It was a hard decision but I think we'll be very happy. I wanted a more home like feel and the splash pool for the kids in case I don't feel like walking to the clubhouse. So for us it was a no brainer to chose WH. WBC looked very nice and has great amenities so I'm sure you'll be happy with either one.

It's also nice to be able to park right by your door if you choose a townhouse or pool house at Windsor Hills.

We find we miss the resort atmosphere if we go the house route. Certainly nice but too much like just being at home vs a resort vacation. We tried the houses and much prefer a good 2 or more bedroom condo at a nice resort.
