Help!!!! Can someone help me resize my picture???

I copied the url of a picture my dh posted under his name but I do not know how to make it smaller. Can anyone help???

Do you have Microsoft Photo Editor loaded? If you don't know, what program opens when you try to open a file with a JPG extension? (eg. picture.jpg)

If it's Photo Editor, open your file & choose 'Re-size' from the 'Image' menu. A box will open with options to either change size by percentage, or to 3.5 by 6.2 inches (just an example.) Just make sure the 'allow distortion' box is NOT checked.

You can then save it. I usually save it as "picture-small.jpg" or some such in case I want the original for something else instead of just saving over it.

Just in case you need it in the future, you can control the size of your picture by using this format.

[<]IMG width="500" src="http://www.comedycentral.com/jimmyadamonset.jpg"[>]


Make sure you take out the square brackets around the < and > and just add your own address between the quotation marks. You can experiment with the 500 to get it the size you want. You can also say IMG height instead if that is what you want to control.
