Help BOG 5:55pm on MNSSHP party night without attending party?

I just snagged a BOG dinner for 10/6 at 5:55pm - so happy. Realized it's a party night which we don't want to go to. Now worried bc I read an old thread of someone being turned away from their ADR without party tickets. Do you think 5:55 is early enough if the park closes at 7? I just changed all my plans/adrs around for this ughhh. I'd hate for them to turn us away.

I can't imaging them kicking you out in the middle of your meal. Probably you'll be escorted to the proper exit when you finish your meal.

According to Disney's website the ticketed event starts at 7:00 PM on 10/06:

Don your favorite costume to trick-or-treat at this Halloween-themed event - Opens a dialog at Magic Kingdom park—held on select nights in August, September, October and November from 7:00 PM to midnight!

so the OP should be fine by all accounts.

Any ADR before 6 is fine. Any ADR after 6 requires a party ticket.

Why wouldn't it be relevant to the dining question if the OP has an ADR at 5:55 PM?

Because the cut off for dining is 6 not 7.

You'll be fine (but most likely you will be gently escorted out when you finish eating--don't worry; it's sort of fun)--also if you look at your email confirmation it should let you know if you need a party ticket but I'm pretty sure a 5:55 res would be good no matter what party it was. Have fun!

The thread for mvmcp says that the park closes for day guests at 6 and those without a party ticket are not allowed to enter any attractions. It also says they are allowed to shop or dine until 7.

I highly doubt they will kick you out, you will enter the park way before the park close for non party goers, you have a ADR before 6pm and when you're are done you will be unable to buy anything or ride anything after the party starts, you obviously will leave by then. Have a great trip!

If you look at the BOG regular dining and party dining times, regular dining times end at 6:00 pm and party dining times start at 6:00 pm. If your reservation is prior to 6:00 pm, you should be fine! We dined at Skipper's on the first party night and around 6:15 pm, CM's started walking around the restaurant looking for wristbands and gently reminding those without them that they would need to leave the park after their meal, so I would not be surprised if that happened during your meal.

Just make sure you have done any shopping you want to do prior to the meal. You will be escorted out after. Oh, and use the restroom at the restaurant too. They will not allow you to make any detours.
