HELP!! We leave tomorrow and in going over the menus I could find for Epcot I wasn't pleased :guilty: Could you please tell me your favorite counter service restaurants!?
We have 3 eating from childrens menu and 4 eating fom the adult and noone really seems keen on eating "weird food"!
Please help!

The SAFEST CS restaurant is in the American pavillion, you'll find pretty much classic American fast food there. England is a safe bet, things like fish and chips and such, as is Germany if the family likes sausages. You can find ham and turkey sandwiches in Norway, healthy (but normal) wraps at the Land, and I believe there is still a McNuggets shack between Future World and World Showcase. if you decide to do a sit-down meal, Garden Grille is IMHO the best deal and the most "normal" food; all you can eat traditional fare (though they call it fancy names, it's fried catfish, pork and apple sauce, steak strips, stuff like that) with characters.

Kringla Bakery in Norway has got some delicious choices there. For your actual meal, I think the main things are the open faced ham and cheese, salmon, and I believe roast beef sandwiches. I always get the ham and cheese and it's really good (although they go overboard with butter, IMO). They might have salads as well. The greatest thing though is the desserts. They have good cheesecake, for starters. The School Bread is yummy; basically a large kind of hard bread thing (I don't want to call it a roll as it's not, but that's the best word I can think of) topped in coconut and filled with custard. The lefske (potato bread in a roll with cinnamon filling) is good as well, albeit it can be hit or miss in terms of dryness. There's outdoor seating in a covered area. Lots of little birds hang out there as well, looking for crumbs. :teeth:

All in all, still normal food with some really fabulous desserts. I've eaten lunch there every single trip. :thumbsup2

Electric Umbrella in future world has the standard food (burgers, wraps, subs), but we have found the food court area in the Land to be a good choice too. Though some choices are different, there seems to be something for everyone and their desert counter is to die for--some of the best deserts on property (especially their choclate mousse cake and strawberry shortcake--yum).

I agree with n2mm, Seasons in the Land is great. They have many choices, especially since I have 3 picky eaters. The dessert case is awesome.

Seasons has a lot of choices for everyone of different tastes and diets.

Though, our favorites are Yorkshire fish (DH's favorite) in the UK and Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. My Mom and her BF enjoyed the American Pavillion the most.

We have always enjoyed the bistro in France. You can get baguettes with ham and cheese, pizzas and sweeties that are great.

Cantina De san Angel is in Mexico and they have great food for a decent price! There is something for everyone!
Or if you prefer American over Mexican try Liberty Inn in America.
They have very good food that is a little different than the norm and they seem to give bigger portions!
Have fun! :sunny:

We love the Tangierine Cafe in the WS. They have a rotisserie chicken that is really good and you can get french fries with it instead of the saffron rice. They also have some really good desserts.

I am a very picky eater and the only thing I ate at Seasons was the kid's mac and cheese (I got two to fill my belly). Most of the sandwiches are already predone.

I like San Angel Cantina outside of Mexico. America has good food, along with Sommerfest at Germany and the counter service at Morocco. Electric Umbrella is good too. Alas, too bad Pasta Piazza is no longer at Epcot. It had some pretty good stuff.

I agree with Susan here. But I would add my personal fave is the Cantina at Mexico. But for a variety of good choices, its the Seasons.
