Help anyone in disney now know if buzz lightyear ride is open or still closed rehab?

hi,
anyone know when the buzz ride will be reopen?????? i know it was closed for rehab i thought it would be closed till the 8th but according to disney website it looks like only februarty 1st. we are going disney next week and need to know because some of us have our heart set on riding the buzz lightyear ride. please help

It was closed on Monday. Allears still says it's down till the 8th.

yes i saw that but on disneys official site it looks like it should be open today. Anyone there and can let us know if it is open or not???? thanks

I noticed the same thing! A few weeks ago, it was listed on the Disney site as being re-furbished until the 8th. I looked today though and the only thing listed as being re-furbised at MK was the Riverboat. I had the same thought--maybe the finished up early??? Wouldn't that be great? We are purposely going back on our last day (the 10th) so that we can ride it

It's definitely open. I rode it twice today, though it did stop a few times while I was on it. Not sure what the problem was.

Soft opening yesterday. We rode it about 8 times with no lines. Regular opening is still the 9th per the CM at the door.

Did they just do a regular refurb or did the change the ion cannons to match the ones in Disneyland that can be removed?

all they did was some simple painting and fixedsome of the targets. the guns are still attached.

Just got back from 5 day trip...Buzz was closed on Monday ... but opened late afternoon Thursday Feb. 2nd. My DS, age 4, was thrilled!! (His favorite ride)
