I see DISNEY has some baskets they can make up..I am wondering about having this Platter deliv and having it for when we Board( im sure we will be hungry for some snacks) IS it worth it OR do we just Hit a food station onboard when we arrive?
Its a FRUIT & cheese platter for 24.00~
(1st time CRUISER~)
:confused3

There are at least 2 places to eat lunch onboard. Plus I think even Pluto's might be open. Personally, I would not order the platter. Once the cruise starts, there is a cheese platter (All hands on Deck) that is included ("free") in your curise price. You can always order that if you get hungry after room service is available. The only time you can't get food on the ship is during the life boat drill.

ONce someone sent us the cheese platter as a gift. It was really not needed and it took days to eat it.

When you board, lunch is being served. And it is a highlight of the trip. We like to go into Parrot Cay, where they have platters of shrimp, salads, fruit soup, wonderful breads, meats, desserts, and much much more - an excellent buffet. Or you can head up to Topsiders and eat outside. Or do both if you want. No need to purchase food or to bring any aboard.

Thanks to BOTH of you... looks like we'll pass and save the 24.00! and have plenty of food ONBOARD~
greAT thanks
