We have always stayed at a moderate (PO/FQ, PO/Riverside, CS) but we have a code for AKL standard room for $119/night or moderates at $85/night. Is AKL worth it? Or, if we choose AKL, should we take the step to upgrade to Savannah? Thanks for all advice!

Guessing on how long you are staying and when you are going, if you are staying 6 nights, that would be a $200.00 savings to stay at a moderate. But if you are going during the last 3 months of this year, CSR (no code) and CBR (closed) are out so that leaves you POR or POFQ. So it will come down to do you want the $200.00 for spending or other things or the AKL. I would take the AKL for that price if you have never tried a deluxe before.

We will probably only stay 3 nghts... this is a last minute trip we are looking at. Just didn't know if it was worth the extra $$$ for a deluxe. We've always liked PO because it has a boat to Downtown Disney at night.

It will be rare you will find codes for Deluxe hotels at that price. Personally, I say take advantage of it because once the economy picks up, we may not see these prices again.

I am in the same situation. I am booked at PO-FQ in mid-January & anxiously awaiting rates. IF I can get AKL or WL for $119, I am definately switching! I'm just not sure to which one yet! Leaning toward AKL with my 2yr old & I will hope for a free upgrade to Savannah when I check in!
Have a wonderful vacation! :p :p
