Although it's our 4th trip to WDW in Oct, it is the first time we will have hired a car. I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you are staying at one of the Disney hotels (which we are, OKW) parking is free at the parks - can someone clarify that for me?

Also, rules of the road in Florida are different to rules of the road here in England - does anyone know where I can find more info out about that please?

TIA!!!

Yes, parking at the theme park parking lots is free to guests of Disney's resort hotels.

Here's an interesting resource regarding your questions about driving in Florida:

http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/british/driving.htm

It has a link to the Florida State drivers' handbook... that should be somewhat useful.

Thanks for that, just had a quick look and is exactly what we were looking for! :drive:
Can I just offer up a big 'thanks' for looking into the rules of the road??? Too many visitors just assume the rules are the same everywhere....even those from other states!! And there can be differences.
So, thanks for being informed!!!
