Anyone else get this feeling? I mean, I've been on the budget board until everything is paid for :cool1: , been on the DISign board and all my shirts are made :surfweb: (3 shirts for a 4 night trip, designed myself), I've already packed some  , I've made all the ADR's :stir: , I've decided where to go when :moped: (tentatively, of course) and NOW, I'm running out of things to plan. What am I going to do? I still have a month to go! :confused3

Once everything is done I become very bored. I have 2 months to go to make my ADRS'S and am already looking at the menus. I wish they would come out with December's extra magic hours so I can plan what in the parks, stuff like that. I guess next month they will release the dates for Mickey's Christmas Party so I have something to look forward to. I think planning is half the fun of doing a trip to Disney, the rest is getting there and enjoying yourselves.

I'm right there with you! We have 39 more days to go :cool1: and I'm starting to realize that I've about read everything there is to read pertaining to my upcoming trip. Lately I've been reading trip reports since there's always something new over there. But yes, my resort is booked, my flight is booked (just last week!), my ADRs are made, my tranportation is reserved and now I'm feeling a little "lost" since I've spent the last few months always researching something!

At this point I'm starting to focus on what I need to pick up to pack -- seeking out things like glow sticks for DS, lemonade mix packets for our water, coolmax socks, new shoes for DS, etc :thumbsup2

I sooo know the feeling, you end up looking at your plans all day trying to find fault with them so you can re-arrange something!

If you find a cure, let me know!

Ok, I've already done this. lol. I honestly can't think of another thing to buy! :rotfl2: DH did the other day. He decided we needed a new DVD camcorder. You know, our other one was almost 2 years old! lol. :lmao: This trip better hurry, or it's going to cost us a lot more than we expected!
BTW, I got glow bracelets from illuminationz.com and they came in less than a week! Great prices too!

It's a good thing this April trip came up for us, because I was getting crazy waiting for our Dec trip! I can't wait until MVMCP stuff comes out!

How about writing a pre-trip report? Take your time with it and post it in a few weeks. There. Now you only have two weeks 'til your trip. For the next two weeks finish shopping if you haven't done so already. Have you matched up your outfits according to which day you're going to wear them? I always do. (Don't want to end up in a nice restaurant wearing a tank top) :teeth:

I do need to buy some ziploc bags. I put the complete outfit in the bag and label them, eg- "Katie (Monday)". I guess I could design some cute labels for the bags! lol. :rotfl2:
I don't know what goes in a pre-trip report. Are there some good examples somewhere?

I know exactly how your feeling, I WAS leaving March 21, I had done all my planning, I was packed, suitcases in the kitchen ready to be loaded into the car when we got home from work, then we were off, well that all changed when my DBF got hurt at work and ended up in the hospital, we rescheduled, we're going in May, and I want to plan things to make the time go by faster, but I've already done everything.....I've changed all my ADR's, unpacked :sad2: and now just waiting for 2 months....

you can make me a things to do list!!! So far I have come up with:

make maps with touring plans on them and have them laminated
"mall" shopping
"target" shopping
make mousekeeping tip envelopes
check weight limits on delta for suitcases
find 3 more places to make dinner reservations
buy husband new suitcase (he wants to use his sea bag...he's in the Marine Corps, but I don't want to see anyting that deals with the military for 10 days)
try out new camera (it's in the mail)
figure out who's keeping the "kids" while we're gone
buy sling bag to carry in the parks from ebags.com

It doesn't feel like I have time to do anything. I'm trying to finish my thesis. We are leaving the day after my graduation (may 5th, fly out may 6th). Plus, we are having family at the house.

Let's see, there's still:

Hoodie Sweatshirts
Custom Passports
Custom Autograph Pages
Custom Pal Mickey clothes
Address labels to write out for all those post cards you'll have to send

I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting!!! :rotfl:

Yes, theres some cute examples in the trip reports forum. I just read a nice one posted by a sixteen year old who for her birthday was surprised by her family with a Disney trip.
