We've already booked and paid for 2 nights at Vistana Villages at a great rate in July before our Disney Cruise. We were planning on staying for free for the next 2 nites at the Nick Hotel (as we did last year before our last year's Disney Cruise).

However, we just found out that Nick Hotel is no longer affiliated with Holiday Inn (so we can't use our points for free):) and the Staybridge Suites do not have the 2 bedroom suites available on points (or maybe they are just booked).

Do you have an ideas for a cheaper alternative for a family of 5 with ideally 2 bedrooms so our 3 boys don't have to share beds???

thanks so much!!!

Mousesaver's website has a few suggestions for where to stay before a cruise. I have no idea what the rates are; it could be tricky to find a cheap two bedroom place. Maybe consider two adjoining rooms at a reasonable motel instead?.....just a thought. Bonnet Creek has some two bedroom rentals available; Ken Price from www.vacationupgrades.com gets good reviews, and there are rentals on Ebay all of the time. Very nice place, but not necessairily "cheap".

I just went thru this. points are suppose to be for a Std room. BUT you can call and upgrade to suite after you make the reservation. Actually make sure there is availability without the points, then call, to make sure that theyw ould do that for you, make the reservation , and call back.

thanks so much...I will be heading to those websites!!!:)

Have you checked any of the Intercontinental brand hotels in Orlando, ie by I-Drive?

We are searching all options and were given Lake Eve Resort and Palisades Resort to consider as well...all help is appreciated..it is just such a bummer to think that 2 nights would've been free and now they aren't:guilty:

so we continue to search...thanks so much for your suggestions!!!!:flower3:

I was just exploring the SunSpree resort and it doesnt have any rooms for our "criteria"...I know in the past we could get a 2 bedroom at Nick for 27,500 points a night for a 2 bedroom suite when it was still affiliated with Holiday Inn.

Will keep searching...found Lake Eve resort for a $109 per night for 2 bedroom with kitchen and w/d..so we will see:)

thanks!

Depending on the dates you could probably get a 2 br. at Cypress Pointe for under $100/night including tax.
