HELP - 2 ? Photopass and tickets

Leaving in two days and have two questions. Tried to search but wasn't getting any results (not sure why). Anyway.

1. We have a party of 10. Do you suggest we write initials on each person's park pass? Will this demagnitize them in anyway if we use a sharpie? Just started to freak that I would screw up $1500 worth of tickets.

2. I don't quite understand the Photopass as far as what you are buying. If I buy the $100 CD does this mean I can take it anywhere to print my own photos, it gives me the copyright, correct? Has anyone ever done this with a large group? We have three families making us a group of 10, can we get one photopass to share? We are all related so we would want most of our pictures to be together anyway. I was thinking we could split it 3 ways, will they allow us to do this?

Is the Photopass CD worth it?

I have written on the back of my passes before (especially hoppers to tell me how many days I have left). I haven't had a problem. Also, our Annual Passes in the past 2 years were separate tickets apart from our room key and they had different images on the front - I think a different one for each park, so you will probably end up with a variety of tickets. Oh, now that I think of it, our AP's actually have our names on the back of the tickets. I guess it all depends on the type of tickets you are getting.

I imagine you can work your photopass situation the way you have described. I can't see anything that would stop you, unless the photographers have a limit to subjects in a photo. I kind of think they won't, but maybe somebody out there knows better. I believe if you buy the CD you can take it to Walgreen's or wherever to have pic's printed in whatever quantity. We were told this by one of the photographers.

PS - reading your last question was Photopass worth it? I think in your situation it sounds like a great idea and a decent value. It is just DH, DS and myself and our first trip we had about 30 photos. The only place I really saw photographers was at the park entrances and if you stood in line at a character greeting location. We really liked a few of the photos so we purchased 4 a few weeks later once we were home. This past trip we had maybe 16 photos. I liked a few but didn't think they were quite worth the high cost to buy just the one or two that I liked so we passed. The quality varies somewhat, but I found most photos to be very nice and professional. They do quite a few takes to make sure that hopefully one of the bunch is a keeper.

I think the photopass cd is totally worth it if you take full advantage of it...they probably sell the individual photos for close to $20 anyway, right? I'll tell you from my own experience...I'm always the one behind the camera and never in any family photos For our son's first trip earlier this year, I decided that we were going to get as many family pictures taken, even though I took tons and tons of my own pictures...we ended up with about 80 pictures from all throughout the parks and character meet-n-greets...totally worth it!!!

I will have an AP this year so I'm not quite sure about the whole key to the world being separate, etc...should be interesting...while we're on the subject of tickets, before I post this anywhere else...I just received my MVMCP and LaNouba tickets (cards) in the mail...We get to keep those don't we (after the party?). Someone on these boards shared the idea of gluing magnets on the back and using them on the fridge...
