Help …. Possible Jaleo scam

I received an e mail from Jaleo advertising a Black Friday gift card offer. The link took me through to inKind.com and I purchased a gift card. Then someone mentioned that they couldn’t see the offer on Jaleo’s website and I can’t see any reference to it on their social media pages, so I am worried that it may be a scam. Did anyone else receive the offer?
I have e mailed Jaleo and tried to contact them through social media, but no response. And ofcourse my bank is closed!

Think Food Group owns Jaleo and a number of other restaurants, including one named Zaytinya. The website for Zaytinya references the use of dining credits from inKind at any of their restaurants, including Jaleo. I think you are fine.

I got the same email and previously set-up a "house account" through the same website for Jaleo and their other restaurants a few months back because it came with some great discounts. I've been able to use it at another Jose Andres owned restaurant with no problem.

Sad state when it is so hard to tell the scammers from the legitimate offers.

Jaleo is a reputable restaurant. I seriously doubt they are involved in a scam.
I'd call them tomorrow and get your Q's answered.

I don't think the issue was with Jaleo, I think it had to do with the site the OP was sent to for the purchase of the GF ...as in the site may have been "hijacked" or the email link they received was a scam.
