Arrived home sweet home at about 11.15pm (earlier than I thought we would) and have just put the kids to bed at about half an hour ago. Had to give them a quick shower first so that they'd be a bit more comfy in bed.
Am completely knackered but had a lovely time. We actually got to do so much more than I thought we would. We spent Thurs & Fri in the main park and all the rides that we did were just walk-ons (think the longest we queued for was 20 mins for BTM!!). This time, we decided to go into Frontierland first instead of Fantasyland and BTM was only a 20 min wait - I was shocked! lol.
We went to the Park on Sat morning (noticeably much more crowded!) and then went over to the Studios after lunch... and back to the Park again in the evening for Mickey's Magical Dinner... and managed to catch Fantillusion as well. Didn't get a good spot obviously as we were there on the dot at 9 pm after the dinner but the important thing was that we managed to watch it. Otherwise, I would've missed it completely.
Sunday - we managed to do Buzz & Orbitron and then spent the rest of the afternoon at the Studios. The crowd IN the park and heading/queueing up for the main park was a shocker
Ohhh and bumped into hildasmuriel & britchic as well and said a quick HI to them. Lovely to put faces to names. Oh and Ema too lol.
Will hopefully get to do TR soon. Have a couple of lunches to go to the next couple of days, so perhaps will only be able to get it done over the Xmas hols. However, knowing me, I'll probably try and get it done a.s.a.p.
Have to say though, I expected it to be so much more Christmassy but it wasn't. As DH said, everything basically looks the same apart from the huge Christmas tree and a few Xmas decorations here and there and the shops are a bit more Christmassy than usual... and I have to say, I agree with him.
Catch up with you guys again soon!
