Hi there I am newb to these boards but have read some amazing guides this morning so thought I would join!

My wife and I have been to WDW Florida before and I booked a trip to DLRP yesterday as a surprise for her 30th birthday.

We are going in October, does anyone know the opening and closing times to the parks? Do they have fireworks at the end?

Welcome, feel free to ask any questions. I'm sure someone will know the answer to it & we are a friendly, if not crazy bunch

The opening times tend to be 10am - 6/7pm unless it weekends then they sometimes open till 8pm. No sure if the are going to continue with Extra Magic hours for the rest of the year as at the moment the timetable is only up to September There are no fireworks this time of year until you get the Bonfire season due to residential laws.

have recently booked for october stayin at NPBC (14-20th) and at time of booking they confirmed there WILL be EMH on those dates. Hope this helps?

The Hotel new York is an excellent choice and October is a great time to go as the park celebrates Halloween

I love the HNY themes, especially in the the wings of the hotel where they have a Yankees & Mets baseball theme.

If I could afford it I would stay here each time
