Hi, I am a Maine mom, freezing my butt off here and dreaming of Disney all the time. After spending the last three years or so reading these boards but never posting I decided to take the plunge!

Hey neighbor! Welcome! Planning a Disney trip is a great way to forget about the snowbanks that are towering outside our windows!

Fellow mainer here!!! My wife and I leave for POP on the 16th of march through the 21st. First trip without the kids since 2009!!! Kinda worried about the crowds but got a good price, so maybe it won't be too bad! Lol!! We usually go in February and the crowds are low and weather nice!! I have had more than enough snow and cold!!! I want shorts, t-shirts and sun!!! The only frozen thing I want to see is my drinks at epcot!!!!

A Mainer here too. When the kids have all graduated from college our plan is to sell our house and move to Florida. Honestly though it will be hard to say goodbye to this house and area. It is where we have raised our kids.

Hello fellow Mainers. I'm in the greater Portland area. My wife and I are planning our first WDW vacation for June, 4 months (120 days) from today, not that I'm counting. I'm obsessing (my wife's word) about all the details, she has a very casual approach to it all.

Hello Maine Mama!! I am sending big hugs but not too much sympathy for the weather, since I'm writing from Ontario, Canada where we are currently -14 degrees celsius (I think that's about 7 fahrenheit?) and snowing

Welcome, Maine Mama! I think you're gonna like it here. I'm in Los Angeles and I have been complaining about how "cold" it is since we didn't hit 70 today but I think I should shut my trap now and count my blessings.
