wow that is great two days at Castaway cay and puerto rico thrown in the mix too! (I could skip St. Maarten anytime except for the shopping) have fun! Ann

Sounds like a great plan. I know it wasn't what you were expecting with a Western Itenerary, but better than fighting the storm. Have fun!

Ave!!! I almost missed this posting.

Glad to hear you guys are having a wonderful time. Dan and I and Susan514 and others for sure are taking care of your 9/28 thread so you will not have to look back pages for it upon your return.

So, do you think hubby will agree to Cruisetoberfest II, or is it still a bit too early.....

Hope your BIL had a great day fishing today. Tell Mary we said HI!

Continue enjoying and having fun and have a drink or two for us poor souls left back home....

Boy, you are totally lucky, how rough are the seas?:sunny:

The on board person booking reservations on our cruise told me the Western Cruise is more popular than the Eastern Cruise. It made me think that if they would put in an extra day at Castaway Cay, I bet it would change the 'popularity' of the Eastern cruise (and then they wouldn't have to have so many days at sea). I know if they did this it would make me want to do the Eastern Cruise! Right now we are booked for the Western cruise next year, we just did it a few weeks ago and I loved it.

Glad they were able to come up with such a great plan for an alternate cruise for you. Let us know how it goes!

Shopping in San Juan is great, better than St Thomas and San Juan has the Bacardi Rum factory tours (with samples)... And to do Castaway Cay twice in one trip... Woo Hoo... Good for you !!!

What a great mystery cruise.

You have the best itinerary.....twice at Castaway Cay and Puerto Rico....if you have time, visit El Morro, it is really cool and depending what time the ship enters and leaves the harbor, the site is magnificent.

Hey Westjones

You are absolutely right. If DCL added Castaway as your 1st and last stop on the Eastern, it probably would be more popular.

We just did the Western which was great but I loved visiting Castaway 2x.

Last year we were on the Mystery Cruise 10/5 and we also stopped at Castaway 2x, St. Thomas & Puerto Rico. What a wonderful cruise.

We're booked for the Western next year but if DCL modified the Eastern to include Castaway 2x, I'll change in a heartbeat.

Castaway Cay twice sounds great but I wouldn't want to surrender the days at sea. We like those very much. How about just what we are seeing posted? Two days at Castaway Cay, a day at Puerto Rico (or other) and the rest at sea. Sounds good to me.

I think the reason the Western Cruise is more popular now, is that it is a new itineary for Disney.

Please don't take away the extra day at sea, that is what made me and hubby pick the eastern. We have done many eastern and western, not Disney, put we love our days at sea.
