Notice my sunglasses? I'm down in Florida at Daytona Beach. The sun is bright, the sea breeze feels and smells great, and I love the way the beach sand feels between my toes.
I did have one little accident...well...two little accidents.
I was sitting in my low beach chair, letting the water brush up against my feet before the water retreated back to the ocean. It was absolutely relaxing. I pulled my "DIS-CON-I cap" over my eyes and began to relax........Then before I new it, I had that awful salty ocean water up my nose and in my mouth.....and I was on my back sliding backwards as a big wave came out of nowhere and knocked me out of my chair and on my back...lol...lol...lol.
Actually, I had it pretty good. It was all those poor families behind me under there umbrellas...their blankets, towels, shoes, shirts, cups, drinks, food, and a hundred plastic sand castle making things and buckets and shovels were floating eveywhere..lol.
Everyone was hopping up grabbing their soaked towels and blankets and chasing their shoes and books up the tide on the beach as their kids were all jumping up and down laughing at their parents and all the excitement.
It was very funny.
It's good to be off work for a change.
I just thought that you could picture me rolling backards out of my chair...lol.
If you are in the area, you're welcome to come sit on the beach with me. No cars on this stretch of beach.
