Hi, my name is Lizzie and I am really excited to be joining the threads. I know there's probably tons of threads with the answers I'm looking for, but I was just so excited about posting that I had to ask myself!

I had my phone interview on the 23rd of October (last Sunday) at around 4:20 EST and it only lasted about ten minutes long, just as the interviewer said. I'm really very nervous because, even though I spent days preparing and typing out answers for interview questions, I sort of talked really fast during the interview and I feel like my voice got wobbly. I'm not even sure what I talked about now that I think about it.

It may just be the post-interview overanalyis mindset that a lot of people have after interviews, but I'm super nervous I didn't get it. How long did it take back for you to hear? And do people get rejected more than they get accepted? I said I preferred Disneyland to Disneyworld.. will that hurt my chances?

Thanks so much in advance, and hopefully I'll see you around the DCP next Spring!:)

Please don't beat yourself up over the phone interview! I have had 2 different interviews and each recruiter was a bit different in personality as well. I was accepted both times. The first time I had to decline, and for that interview, I found out in 3 days. The second time around took about 4 weeks or so. That being said, I have watched this discussion board for a LONG time now, and some people have found out much later than that due to being "pended". Most people completely overanalyze later (myself included) and believe me, it only contributes to the stress, so try to relax. All you can do is the best you can do, right? Many many people apply, and although I cannot speak intelligently as to actual numbers, I am sure there is always a surplus of applicants. It is a very popular program, and continues to be so. I would imagine, statistically speaking, that DLR obviously needs less cast members that WDW, simply due to the size of the resort and number of applicants. Nonetheless, believe in yourself! Your chances are as good as anyone elses, and if you can dream it, you can do it. Good luck!
