I know how you feel. I am also an AP holder waiting on AP rates so I can apply them to my reservations for January. I don't understand why it is taking Disney so long to release the AP rates for January.

Yep, Disney is really, really being a stinker this year for AP holders. I was hoping to get a little more of the room this year. Our trip is bitter sweet. We (my brother and sis in law) were planning on coming down in January 2010. But he accidently killed himself and my sis in law said not to cancel, it would be what he wanted. So I told her I would pay for the room if she really wanted to go and she did. So come on disney, cut us AP holders some slack here.

No doubt! Where are the AP rates?? I keep checking & nothing. Something I did find interesting today though, was that on the AP offers it says "Book by December 24th"....some of the rates listed only go through Dec 17th or 24th...so why would Dec 24th be the cutoff???

I'm really surprised...for months I got PIN codes after PIN codes & the one month where my AP expired (have since renewed) I didn't get a PIN code & it's the one month where I NEED it!!

I called yesterday and the CM said that they would be out in the next 2 weeks. This could just be speculation though.

I just got an AP rate 10 minutes ago!! It was for Jan. 9th - Jan. 12th. I don't think the rate applied for the 9th because it is the Saturday of marathon weekend. We got POR three nights for a total with tax of $334.22. I didn't ask the break out of the price for each night, I think I can see it when they send the confirmation e-mail.

She also quoted me $202.53 for AS Sports non preferred and $238 for AS Movies preferred room.

When I first asked for AP or FL resident rates she said they weren't out yet, then when she went in the computer she said, "Oh, I can get you a discounted rate of...." At the end I asked what the discount was, I thought maybe I had a PIN code, but she said it was an AP rate.

I just read through the whole thread and wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about your brother. That si very sweet of you to offer to pay for your SIL's room. I just got an AP rate when i called this morning and there is another thread that says someone got an e-mail with AP dates in 2010. I hope these will help you have a special trip!

Two weeks ago, I renewed my AP & I haven't received any emails...grrr. I even made sure my profile was updated w/my new AP #. I guess it just takes some time to have it updated somewhere??

That's interesting because I was on the phone with a CM at the exact same time and they told me they weren't out yet!

What gives???
