Hello... Anyone have a delicious recipe for Chicken A la King?

Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has a delicious recipe for Chicken ala King they would be willing to share? I tried looking online but I'm just looking for the old fashion type recipe- similar to the stouffer's frozen variety but much much better

If anyone has one they'd be willing to share I'd be so very grateful

omg, wow... I havent thought about this as a kid! My mom used to buy some frozen kind.... no clue what brand it was. I may look around online for a recipe!

Okay thanks. Can you tell me does this have a creamy consistency...like a stew sort of dish? Or is it more like a chicken dinner?

i will give it a try. I am just craving chicken ala king really badly for some reason but the chicken in the frozen stouffers has gone down hill and is barely edible.

I would love to have a *homey* comfort food type recipe that hopefully my family would enjoy too.

If anyone's familiar with the Stouffer's entree- you know what I'm talking about the flavor is delsh- just looking for something healthier than frozen pre-packaged, preservatives etc.

I appreciate any replies from anyone who's made this before . It is such a yummy dish just wish I knew how to make it

Also really good with 1 T. of sherry added, and about 2 T. finely chopped grilled and peeled red pepper (instead of Rachel's cup of white wine and the pimentos). My MIL used to serve her chicken a la king in puff pastry cups, it also is very good on cooked rice/noodles.

I don't personally have a tried and true recipe for this but you may want to go to this website and do a search....

I just tried a search for chicken a la king and a bunch of recipes came up. If you have never used this site for finding recipes, I love it because you can read user ratings of the recipe.
