Hi all...

Just a quick hello...back on now that the big day is getting close (26th April)...just wanted to ask, are we too late to reserve seats on our Virgin flights, do you think (couldn't get through today) and I know this may sound daft asking this, but does the holiday balance (Virgin) have to be paid up before seats can be reserved?

This'll be our first trip to Orlando, two weeks of theme parks and sunshine. Woo hoo:earseek:

I hope Mickey remembers me from our first meetin gin Paris!

Speak soon all!

Off to bed to read 'The Brits' Guide'...again!

 Hi Alton,

Just wanted to say hello and welcome, i was wondering the same thing today, sorry i cant help i'm sure theres someone who can though, think i'll have another read of the Brits Guide as well!:D

Luv Audrey,
xxxxxxxxxx

I booked our seats on Virgin without having to pay the balance first. i think you can book seats 180 days in advance.

Wendy's right - Virgin will take seat pre-booking no more than 180 days before the date of the flight(s).

As this is usually well before the balance payment is required, that isn't a factor.
are we too late to reserve seats on our Virgin flights,
The only way to find out is to ring Virgin! :) I don't think there's a 'too late' date as such but, as there are only a certain number of seats available for pre-requesting, I guess once they've all been allocated then it's 'too late' for anyone else to request them. Give it a go - they can only say "no", but you might be in luck.

Yes, I suspect all the Virgin pre-booked seats will already have been taken, but you never know, so give them a go.

However, if you do want specific seating areas, then get to the airport as early as possible - Twilight Checkin is superb if you can use the facility, only problem with this is so many people do now:rolleyes:

Only about 30% of the seats are given to Virgin's pre-booking facility, so there's still loads up for grabs when you get to the airport.

Thanks for all the replies, folks! I've been too bizzy at work to get to the 'phone today. but I'll do it tomorrow. Even if all the pre-book seats are gone, we'll be at Gatwick in good time as we're staying with my folks near Maidenhead and my Dad doesn't take any prisoners on the M25!

There was a time when I'd consider the PE seats, but I think our money may be better spent in Orlando itself....

Oooooooooooooooh...can't wait!!!:hyper:
