My husband has a conference in Orlando in April. My son and I did GAD and received our vouchers. Our first day is April 8 and a blackout day (of course). I was going to update our vouchers for multi-day tix, but that is not an option. i am having a hard time wrapping my head around the most cost-effective way to deal with this. Can someone help. We need five days worth of tix with one of the days being a GAD voucher.

Can't think of a way around the black out date.

You are lucky, it's the last day of the black out. The best thing I can think of is to spend that day looking around the resort and DTD.

You can't combine two tickets and you don't want to have to pay for another full day's worth of tickets for the two of you.

You could go to Disney Quest or one of the waterparks that day, but that will cost some money-not as much as a one day ticket to one of the main parks.

squirrel is right...there is no way around the block-out date - at least in a way that allows you to get and upgrade a ticket.

If you already have a ticket, you MAY be able to get the other options...that is currently unclear as different official sources are giving conflicting information.

I think squirrel's idea is best...there are many things you can do that don't involve the parks.

Thank you for your help. I found that I can buy our tickets at a discount through the conference my husband is attending and I think I will just use the GAD vouchers for FP or ears. Since we only have five days and don't know when we will be able to come back, I wanted to get the most park days that we could.
